taking a pause

I’m taking a pause from my regular scheduled classes to rest, reflect, and recharge.

Audre Lorde said “caring for myself is not self-indulgence, it is self-preservation, and that is an act of political warfare.” Do what you need to ensure that you’re breathing, showering, eating, hydrating, taking it slow, and showing up how you need to show up. Hope to see you soon.

class descriptions

Strength Building Vinyasa flow

This is an open-level vinyasa flow class. Emphasizing breath, structure, and alignment, this class is deep with real-life connections and mindful movement. Some more challenging asana may be suggested, but options and variations are always offered.

FLOW + Restore

Flow & Restore is a yoga/movement class that thoughtfully asks your body and mind to slow down. The class will intentionally and mindfully challenge you because moving slowly takes effort and isn’t always “easy”. We will work with more restorative asanas, functional movement, breath work, and meditation to emphasize the experience of exploring your own physical awareness. The restorative poses will be offered with and without props. If you have yoga props, grab them for this class. If not, no worries, grab a couple of books or shoe boxes, 2 blankets or a couple of pillows.
